Is bait allowed at any of the lakes?

Bait fishing is allowed at Mundo and Enbom Lakes. At Stone Lake only artificial flies and lures, with barbless hooks, are allowed.

Is there potable water available at the fishing lakes or campgrounds?

NO, Potable water is not available at any of the fishing lakes or at any of the campgrounds. If you run out of water, there is an outdoor spigot at the Jicarilla Game and Fish Department office. The office is located at #15 Narrow Gauge Rd. in Dulce.

What are the Legal Fishing Hours at the Jicarilla Fishing Lakes?

Mundo Lake and Dulce Lake- 24 hours a day

Enbom Lake and Stone Lake- 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.

What types of fish can I catch, and where can I find them?

Mundo Lake- Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, and Bluegill

Stone Lake- Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Largemouth Bass (barbless artificial flies/lures only)

Enbom Lake- Rainbow Trout

Dulce Lake- Channel Catfish

When can I expect the lakes to be ice-free in the spring?

The lakes are typically open by late March-early April.
